Building Control

After you have planning permission

Once Planning Permission or a Lawful Development Certificate has been successfully approved, the next step is to obtain a Building Control Application.

Building Control ensures that all buildings and developments have been properly designed and will be constructed in such a way as to comply with current Building Regulations.

To ensure the health and safety of all those living and working within them, a building control drawing includes within it very specific information regarding the kind of materials that will be used and the material sizes - it also provides various building requirements, including information on how the development is to be built, as well as foundation, wall construction and roof details.

How can we help?

At Building Drawing Architectural Services we're committed to ensuring that all building projects comply with the very latest Building Regulations.

We take the hassle out of the application process. We're able to obtain any necessary calculations from a Structural Engineer, and do our best to streamline the entire process. We work with our clients each step of the way, and you will receive the final drawing drafts before we submit your application to Building Control.
